Since its inception in 1991, the Maison de Chouannerie et de la Révolution (Chouan Uprising and Revolution Museum) has occupied the same building as the Tourist Office. It tells the story of the revolution in 6 exhibition rooms. Four rooms house various antique objects and texts, as well as scenic reconstructions created by Carolyne Morel.
The other two rooms are devoted to temporary exhibitions of objects from rural life in the 19th and 20th centuries.
