Extremely elegant, it is made of a heavy stone base, surrounded by a double circular stone brim which forms a bench. There is a font to either side of the entrance. To the North, facing the church, a nine-step staircase allows access to the pulpit. The gallery is decorated with a granite parapet. Multiple scenes from the Passion of Christ and the Resurrection, energetic and original, are sculpted in the parapet. At the centre of the pulpit, there is a stone cross representing the Crucifixion. Tradition has it that Saint-Vincent Ferrier came to preach at Pleubian, and that this pulpit cum stone-cross was erected in memory of his sermons.
